The idea of making a very hungry caterillar came up after reading
the book of Eric Carle aloud to my grandchildren.
The size is about 11 x 67 cm, 4” x 27”, which depends on the hook
and stiffness of the crochetwork and the length of the wire.
The eyes are made of two pairs of buttons.
I used 5 different shades green cotton 40 gram each (200 grams in total, 125-160 m/50grams)
and 30 gram red or orange cotton.
The written pattern holds a lot of how-to-pictures.
