Ribbons in the Wind

The theme of this quilt is 'Movement', made for the lustrum of the Dutch Quiltersguild in 1998. The theme made me think of multicoloured ribbons, blowing in the wind.
In the handquilting the movement is going on: meanderquilting in the ribbons. The background is quilted in never ending waves. This quilt is in the log-book which is published in 1998 by the Dutch Quiltersguild to celebrate their lustrum.
